How to Revive the Traditional “Khadi” for Independence Day?

Independence Day-

The Indian freedom struggle stretched a huge time span and made us familiar to some of the brave souls who raised their voices against the British and went beyond their limits with true patriotism in their hearts and intense kindness for the people of their country. When the various revolutions were making its way towards the country’s freedom, a beautiful textile called the “Khadi” was emerging during this scenario and quickly created its firm grip among the Indian hearts.

The manufacture of the khadi textile was initiated by an honorable personality “Mahatma Gandhi” who spun cotton yarns into textile on a loom called “Charkha” that finally created the “Khadi”. He protested to boycott the British apparels and accept the purely Indian made “Khadi” fabric apparels. Since then “Khadi” became the symbol of country’s freedom and politics also inspired the fashion industry immensely.

While the Indian Independence Day is approaching soon on 15th August, here I will suggest the men and women out there, on how you can effortlessly carry off this lovely khadi textile with a touch of quirky contemporary style for this day.
