Filmfare OTT 2025: The Night Belongs to Alia, Ananya, and Vicky

The Filmfare OTT Awards 2025 were a dazzling testament to the power of digital storytelling, but the spotlight was undeniably seized by a trio of stars who commanded attention both on the red carpet and the winners’ list.

Ananya Panday secured a major career milestone, winning the prestigious Best Actor (Female) in a Comedy Series for her witty and stylish performance in Call Me Bae. Her triumph cemented her transition into a serious streaming powerhouse.

Sanya Malhotra takes home the Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actor (Female) for her deeply layered and emotionally powerful performance in Mrs. – a film that resonated for its realism, restraint and raw honesty.

Holding the iconic Black Lady close, Sanya’s win marks a defining moment in her OTT journey, proving once again that nuanced storytelling and authentic performances continue to rule the digital space.

Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal brought undeniable star power and glamour to the evening. While Alia was nominated for her performance in Jigra, and Vicky for his work in The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case, it was their combined red-carpet sizzle and warm candid interactions that set social media alight, proving that star presence can sometimes ‘steal the show’ more effectively than any single award.

Though big awards also went to stellar series like Black Warrant (Best Series) and Paatal Lok Season 2 (Best Series – Critics), this night will be remembered for the young guard – led by Ananya’s big win and the collective charisma of Alia and Vicky—proving that the future of Indian entertainment is both critically acclaimed and fiercely fashionable.

🌟 The Black Lady’s Biggest Stars

Beyond the dazzling star power, the Filmfare OTT Awards 2025 were a night of richly deserved victories for many acclaimed performers who make the streaming space so compelling. Jaideep Ahlawat once again delivered a masterclass, securing the Best Actor (Drama Series) for his nuanced return as Hathiram in Paatal Lok Season 2, while the gripping series Khauf saw Monika Panwar win Best Actress (Drama Series) for her stellar work, and the ever-brilliant Rasika Dugal was celebrated in the Critics’ Drama category for Shekhar Home.

The evening also honoured strong performances in original films, with Abhishek Banerjee winning Best Actor for the taut thriller Stolen, and the charismatic Vikrant Massey and breakthrough talent Preeti Panigrahi winning big in the Critics’ Film categories for Sector 36 and Girls Will Be Girls, ensuring the night truly reflected the depth and diversity of talent dominating the OTT landscape.
