Pure Kanchipuram Real Zari
Kanchipuram is a district in the northeast of the state of Tamil Nadu in India, is a traditional centre for silk weaving and handloom industries for producing Kanchipuram Sarees, Popularly known as Kanjivaram Sarees. Woven in pure and finest quality of mulberry silk that comes from Karnataka, the zari used in weaving these sarees is real silver zari. While weaving a genuine Kanchipuram silk saree, the border and the body are woven separately and interlocked together to make one saree.
Pure Kanchipuram saree is one of the finest assets a woman can own and a must in any Indian wedding. Characterized by expensive borders, vivid colors and quirky motifs, temple borders, checks, stripes and floral (buttas) are traditional designs found on a Kanchipuram sarees. A single saree takes minimum one week to be woven by weavers depending on the intricacy and details of the design. These naturally woven sarees can be found in various traditional designs.
