  • In India “Good Friday” is anticipated on Friday, 14th April 2017 & Easter will be observed on Sunday, 16th April 2017.

  • Easter is forecasted as the first Sunday after the very first full moon which also follows with the first day of spring season.


  • Late night masses & prayers are conducted to recall and honor the sacrifice of “Jesus Christ” for the people. Church services are organized which are solemn and serene.
  • Christians participate in the church communion as they take the bread and wine symbolizing the form and blood of Jesus Christ.
  • Devotional songs and particular prayers of thanks giving are played usually on the evenings when Christ died.
